A Scholarship Reception was held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 to honor the recipients of the Wayne General Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship. The recipients for 2013 are; Juliana Dyess, Chelsea Miller, Allie Sehon, Derrion Johnson, and Jared Walley.

The Wayne County Show Choir, under the direction of Amy Pruitt, performed Christmas carols for the Swing Bed Patients at Wayne General Hospital on December 17, 2012.

On Wednesday, December 19, 2012, Patricia McGill, President of St. Luke Missionary Society presented a check for $250 to Wayne General Hospital to assist with items for Swing Bed Patients. Torcia McLendon Mayfield, Director of Medical Social Services  accepted the check on behalf of the hospital.

Calvary Baptist Church Visit

Calvary Baptist Church Women For Mission Day Group came to visit the Swing Bed Patients. They offered inspirational words along with gifts to the patients. Pictured with the group is Doris West the Activities Director for our Swing Bed Unit.

Wayne General Donation

On Tuesday, January 4, 2012, Patricia McGill, President of St. Luke Missionary Society presented a check for $250 to Wayne General Hospital to assist with items for Swing Bed Patients. Torcia McLendon Mayfield, Director of Medical Social Services, Doris West, Activities Coordinator and Diane Franks, Swing Bed Coordinator accepted the check on behalf of the hospital.

Wayne General Award Banquet

Wayne General Hospital held its annual Service Award Banquet on May 19, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. in the Hospital Cafeteria.

EMT Service Award

An award was given to James Walters, EMT-P for the care given to a patient that was involved in a motor vehicle accident. The award was given by The Wayne County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC).
