Calvary Baptist Church Visit
Calvary Baptist Church Women For Mission Day Group came to visit the Swing Bed Patients. They offered inspirational words along with gifts to the patients. Pictured with the group is Doris West the Activities Director for our Swing Bed Unit.
Wayne General Donation
On Tuesday, January 4, 2012, Patricia McGill, President of St. Luke Missionary Society presented a check for $250 to Wayne General Hospital to assist with items for Swing Bed Patients. Torcia McLendon Mayfield, Director of Medical Social Services, Doris West, Activities Coordinator and Diane Franks, Swing Bed Coordinator accepted the check on behalf of the hospital.

Scholarship Reception
A Scholarship Reception was held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 to honor the recipients of the Wayne General Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship. The recipients for 2011 are: Lacey Davis, Katelyn Jones, Paige Odom, Sha,Quere Gray, and Saxton Odom.

EMT Service Award
An award was given to James Walters, EMT-P for the care given to a patient that was involved in a motor vehicle accident. The award was given by The Wayne County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC).
